As adults, we remember what our student experience was as we moved from elementary school up to high school, but as we all know, times have changed! Come zoom with Northville CARES and listen to what our young people are saying about growing up and being a high school student in 2021.
YOUTH VOICES
Northville CARES presents Youth Voices, a compelling conversation with teens about managing life as a Northville High School student. This session includes viewing a pre-recorded youth panel where Northville teens candidly share their thoughts and experiences on such topics as overparenting and independence, the pressures of being a student in a high performing school, reducing the stigma and promoting help-seeking when mental health challenges arise, and more.
Following the youth panel, attendees will participate in an interactive discussion focused on the behavioral health needs of our youth and strategies on how we as a community can best support them.
REGISTER TODAY!
The screening will take place on December 16, 2021, from 7-8:30 pm via zoom. To register email: [email protected].
The youth panel was moderated by Kerri Ann Sondreal, Youth Support Specialist, Northville Youth Network and Dianna Shamus, Social/Emotional Learning Counselor, Northville High School.
