Appeals Process
When a decision has been made on an application and families would like to appeal that decision.
This appeal, made to the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction must provide substantial evidence that a student will be successful in ALPS. Upon receipt of the appeal request, the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction will convene a review team which will be comprised of at least two other educators. The review team will meet to review all submitted appeal forms. Notification of the decision will be sent to the family in email. The decision of the Appeal Review Committee is final.
